Lolo, who won the USA and World championships in hurdle events in 2013, has only been able to achieve this level with a lot of effort and tremendous patience. Jones experienced a tough childhood due to her being born to a single mother with a large family. The mother of Jones moved around constantly and even lived in the basement of the church. Jones was a nomadic and mobile life until the time she entered the high school system, was required the option of moving to a new school annually. Jones stayed in four residences during her high school period to be able to complete her studies at one location.
